Terms of Service

Draft — have this reviewed by a qualified lawyer before launch.

1. About these terms

These Terms govern your use of CreatorProof (the “Service”), operated by [Company legal name], [registered address], India. By creating an account or using the Service you agree to these Terms.

2. What the Service does

The Service records a cryptographic fingerprint (SHA-256) of files you submit, the time the platform received them, an independent timestamp where obtained, a version history, an audit trail and a digitally signed certificate. It provides verification of those records.

3. What the Service does not do

The Service does not grant copyright, patent, trademark or any other intellectual-property right; does not determine authorship, originality or ownership; is not registration with the Copyright Office or any government authority; and does not guarantee that any court, authority or third party will accept or rely on a record.

4. Your account

You must provide accurate information, keep your credentials secure and be at least 18 years old or have the consent of a parent or guardian. You are responsible for activity under your account.

5. Your content and declaration

You confirm, each time you submit a work, that you created it or are authorised to submit it and that the information you provide is accurate. You keep all rights in your content. You grant us a limited licence to store, process and display the details you choose to make verifiable, solely to provide the Service.

6. Prohibited use

You must not submit content you have no right to submit, impersonate others, submit unlawful or malicious files, attempt to tamper with records, or use the Service to mislead anyone about authorship or ownership.

7. Reports and revocation

Anyone may report a record. We may place a record under review, suspend it or revoke it under these Terms. Revoked records remain in the audit history and are shown as revoked.

8. Plans, payment and cancellation

Paid plans renew until cancelled. Refunds and cancellations are governed by our Refund & Cancellation Policy.

9. Records and retention

Fingerprints, timestamps and the audit history are retained, in anonymised form where required, to preserve the integrity of all records. See our Privacy Policy.

10. Availability and liability

We aim for high availability but the Service is provided “as is”. To the extent permitted by law, our total liability is limited to the fees you paid in the 12 months before the claim.
